I was sitting at the table eating porridge with nothing when I asked:

“Isn’t there anything to add to the porridge?”

            昨天晚上我们看了一部很悲伤的电影“忠犬八公(Hachi)的故事”。

    电影讲的故事是在一个寒冷的晚上，Professor Parker H. Wilson 从出差回家的路上遇到了一只小狗——Hachi。可怜的小狗Hachi就被带回家了。Hachi 的故事就这样开始了。在Hachi 的成长过程中，它和Parker成了非常好的朋友。每天早上，Hachi 都会送Parker 到火车站，然后，又每天晚上准时到火车站去接他回家。不幸的是，Parker 因为心脏病去世了！最让人感动的是 Hachi 还在等着Parker，因为它并不知道 Parker 死了。它还是每天准时到火车站，还坐在同一样的地方，盼望着见到他。但他再也不会出现了。就这样子，日复一日，春去秋来，年复一年，它就这样忠心地坐在火车站门口，等啊，等。。。它等了十年，后来它也老了，但还是不肯放弃。最后，在 Hachi 将要死去的时候，终于见到了它亲爱的主人。在睡梦中，它想起了他们在一起是多么开心，多么自由。。。 Hachi 在梦中幸福地上了天堂。

Mr. Bell

     The clock chimed twelve times.It was the middle of the night.The whole town was quiet -- too quiet.Everybody was asleep,but a little boy called Sam just couldn't sleep.Only his light was on.Then suddenly,the door of the Bell Tower creaked open,and a little man in his sixtees came out."That must be Mr. Bell!"Sam thought.He had only heard of Mr. Bell before,but never actually seen him."But what is he doing in the middle of the night?"Sam knew that everybody was scared of Mr. Bell--but why?-- it is a mystery!"I must find out!"he said determinedly.

In my Christmas holidays, we planned to visit a place near Guilin, which is YangShuo. We planned to go with the whole family, but when we arrived at Guilin we saw that my dad’s friend couldn’t come with us because she had another meeting. My sister was sick so she and my Mom couldn’t come. Thus only Dad and I went. Then we went to YangShuo along the Li River on a boat made mainly from wood and bamboo.
